They are formulated to be dripless and smokeless in still air at 21°C (70°F). The bottom is shaped to help ensure a snug fit in a standard 7/8” holder.
Tapers are available in 6”, 10” and 12” heights.

The Concord Taper
The Concord Taper carries on the long tradition of the original shape made since ancient times. We still dip them by hand, producing the finest taper candles available. Our Tapers burn for about 50 minutes per inch. They are solid colour throughout and formulated to be dripless and smokeless in still air at 21°C (70°F). The bottom is shaped to help ensure a snug fit in a standard 7/8” holder. Tapers are available in 6”, 10” and 12” heights.
Taper candles are a classic and ideal candle for elegant dinner parties and romantic nights at home. Our 24 colours on offer ensure that you will find an option to suit your decor, the season and your mood. The most popular option is always the crisp White, followed by the neutrals of Ivory and our Antique Lace for year round enjoyment. Taper candles offer a great chance to add a pop of colour to welcome in the changing seasons. Vibrant colours for include Orange, Kiwi, Purple and Daffodil can quickly and easily bring a refreshing bit of Spring into a room. As we move into Fall there are several great colour choices for decorating such as Butterscotch, Tuscan Terra Cotta, Chocolate Brown, Coral and Sage Green.
As the year closes out and Christmas approaches, our Tapers are even more appropriate with their traditional shape and elegant flame. With the short days, cold weather and abundance of gatherings, Christmas is always the most popular season for burning candles. To ensure that we have the right taper candle for this busy season, we offer our traditional Red as well as Christmas Red and the deep Burgundy to go with Evergreen, of course White and other rich tones like navy Blue and Purple.
