In 1981 we purchased our first candle making equipment and began manufacturing with the clear goal of making the best candles available. We have continued to develop our candle making skills over the years as we are always looking for ways to improve the performance of our product. We continue to source the best raw materials from around the world, including the highest quality wicks and dyes from Germany.
While many candle makers have chosen to abandon or greatly reduce their offerings of traditional dinner candles, Concord Candle has continued to make this our focus. We currently manufacture well over 200 item numbers of dinner candles, including 5 different sizes of tapers.
The manufacture of a well performing dinner candle requires the right combination of materials, equipment and quality control. In the proper balance, this will ensure that the candle burns with a bright flame and will be smokeless and dripless under controlled conditions. We then take this knowledge and apply the same high standards to our pillars, votives, tealites and jars.
Concord Candle offers extensive choices of both highly scented and fragrance free candles. This variety of shapes, sizes, colour and fragrance choices means that Concord Candle has one of the broadest assortments of candle choices in the industry. Our Orillia, Ontario factory is also able to produce custom orders, subject to production run minimums.
